About Us

Neighbors helping neighbors is the mission statement of Atterdag at Home and was created to provide home-bound seniors affordable social, educational, and practical day-to-day resources and services to assist with aging at home with dignity and pride.

Most of the services will be provided by volunteers, many of whom are currently part of the Meals on Wheels program and The Atterdag Village of Solvang Auxiliary. The Director, Karen Brown and the managing company, Atterdag Village of Solvang will coordinate the volunteer efforts, act as a liaison for other community resources and vet local contractors committed to providing quality services for a reasonable fee to program participants.
